Quality council of india Drives Quality Consciousness with Ongoing “Rashtriya Gunvatta Pakhwada” Initiative
The Quality Council of India (QCI) is spearheading a nationwide initiative aimed at instilling a sense of quality consciousness among the youth. This effort is being carried out through the ” Rashtriya Gunvatta Pakhwada” (National Quality Fortnight) , followed by the “Youth for Quality Bharat Festival” scheduled to be held on February 7th, 2024. The fortnight-long event commenced on National Youth Day, January 12th, and will conclude on Republic Day, January 26th. The initiative aims to encourage active youth participation in the creation of a ” Viksit Bharat” (Developed India) by 2047.
As a part of the ongoing “Rashtriya Gunvatta Pakhwada,” QCI has launched a dedicated website, https://qualitybharat.qcin.org/, to further promote the Quality Bharat Mission . The website serves as a comprehensive resource for the initiative, offering detailed information about the various activities, events, and resources available for engaging with the mission. Users can register for participation and stay updated on the latest developments of the movement through this online platform. This launch has added to the momentum of the mission.
This initiative will be a continuous and integral process under the aegis of QCI’s larger and longer mission: Quality Bharat @100 Mission, inspired by and reflecting the honourable Prime Minister’s vision of moving from Amrit Kaal to Gaurav Kaal . The mission stands as a visionary initiative and a commitment to instil a quality culture and initiate meaningful conversations about quality across all dimensions of life to foster the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047 . Under the initiative, quality will embody the essence of a New India and the country will embark on a journey of quality living, making it a mass movement that engages with all at all levels. The mission attempts to drive a quality discourse in all aspects of our lives and empower the citizens to stride towards the Bharat of our dreams.
Encouraging students from all educational institutions, including schools, colleges, and universities, to participate in various fun activities, the ongoing Gunvatta Pakhwada fosters a sense of pride in the country. Participants can showcase their talents through a range of programs, such as taking the Quality Bharat Pledge, reciting the National Anthem, participating in an Essay Writing Competition, engaging in a Quality Quiz, designing a Quality Bharat Mascot, creating Developed India Poster, and participating in a Quality Bharat Nukkad Natak or Short Film Competition under the banner of Quality Bharat. These activities promote quality consciousness at the grassroots level, empowering young people to make positive changes and contribute to a better future.
Sharing his insights on this initiative, Shri Jaxay Shah, Chairperson, QCI, stated that “it is a call to action for the youth and a chance to become an integral part of the movement that will propel India towards Viksit Bharat in this Gaurav Kaal. Channelling the indomitable spirit of Swami Vivekananda, QCI aims to ignite a spark to demand quality in the future of the country. There are hundreds of schools, colleges and universities actively participating in this movement and contributing their bit to instilling a quality culture into the DNA of the students right from their growing years. Furthermore, this will empower the youth to join the “Youth for Quality Bharat Mission” (YQBM), an integral part of QCI's larger “Quality Bharat Mission.”
“The biggest asset we have as a country is our youth. Positive changes can primarily be driven by them. It is high time we gave them more authority, as their distinct viewpoints, creative ideas, and flexibility will be crucial in fostering an environment of excellence via constant development. With Gunvatta Pakhwada we pave the road for a nation that embodies our aspirations and the world looks on in amazement. It is indeed time to build a country of our dreams, in which quality in everything we do reigns supreme” said, Shri Vipin Sondhi, Chairman, NBQP, Quality Council of India
“In a world constantly seeking innovation and improvement, embracing quality is no longer optional but essential. 'Rashtriya Gunvatta Pakhwada' provides a platform to understand the tangible benefits of quality – from enhanced efficiency and productivity to increased competitiveness and consumer satisfaction. We call upon schools, colleges, universities, and students across India to embrace ‘Rashtriya Gunvatta Pakhwada’ with open arms. It's a transformative movement that will empower young minds to become changemakers, shaping a future where quality becomes the cornerstone of “Viksit Bharat”, said, Shri Rajesh Maheshwari, Secretary General, QCI.
The ongoing “Rashtriya Gunvatta Pakhwada” is a significant step towards making India a quality-conscious society. With the help of this national campaign, a “Viksit Bharat” where excellence and quality are equated in all facets of life is possible.
